North America Customer Services & Limited Warranty

30-Days Service Policy

If during the first 30 days after purchase the product fails, due to a factory defect Genius Audio will repair or replace the product at our discretion, If we choose to replace your product, we may replace it with a new or reconditioned unit of the same or similar design. In the event that the failure is due to misuse, Genius Audio will cover for the repair and the customer will pay for the parts. In both cases, the customer must pay the shipping to send the product to Genius facilities. Genius will pay the shipping to return the replacement for factory defect, the customer will pay the shipping to receive the repaired product. When the customer sends the product to Genius facilities must ensure that the product is very well packaged to avoid damage caused in shipping .

1 Year Free Labor & Parts Limited Warranty

Genius Audio stands behind all our products with free parts and labor for 1-year from your date of purchase. Please keep in mind that limited warranty only applies to the original purchaser (consumer), all warranties are non- transferable. (Original invoice and valid ID needed to claim any Genius Audio Warranty). If we choose to replace your product, we will replace it with a new or reconditioned unit of the same or similar design.

Amplifier Warranty

Amplifiers sold by Authorized Dealers or Genius Audio USA are covered under 1 Year Free Labor & Parts Limited Warranty from the date of purchase. Genius Audio will repair or replace the product at our discretion.

Exclusions:

One 1-year limited warranty does not cover:

  • Amplifier failure caused by accidental damage, improper installation, improper wiring, misuse, or abuse. This includes vibration damage.
  • Amplifier failure due to operation outside of the impedance levels listed in the specifications (for example: under 1 ohm for amplifiers 1 ohm stable and under 2 ohms for stereo mode operation in amplifiers 2 ohms stable and similar stable indicated in each product owner’s manual) is not covered by warranty).
  • Amplifiers that have been repaired or altered in any way by anyone other than an Authorized Repair Center.
  • Amplifiers that have been resold. The amplifier warranty is non-transferable.

Speaker Warranty

All Genius Audio subwoofers and speakers sold by Authorized Dealers or Genius Audio USA are covered under 1 Year Free Labor & Parts Limited Warranty from the date of purchase. Genius Audio will repair or replace the product at our discretion.

Exclusions:

One 1-year limited warranty does not cover:

  • Defects or damage caused by accidental damage, improper installation, improper wiring, misuse, or abuse.
  • Products driven over their specified mechanical limits.
  • Products showing signs of abuse/overpowering, including, but not limited to, burnt/open voicecoils or wire leads, folded cones, or ripped surrounds.
  • Products with damage caused by amplifier clipping or overpowering.
  • Products which have been modified, altered or repaired by anyone other than Genius Audio.
  • Products subject to fatigue caused from normal use and wear.

Restocking Policy

Only new and unused products in their original packaging up to 6 months after purchase date may be returned for credit. Discontinued or out-of-date models (including discontinued packaging) will not be accepted for return. All products returned are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Recommendations for Dealers and Distributors:

Due the purpose of giving a better customer service we encourage our partners to prepare and send a monthly defective and fail product report to Genius Audio, with:

  • Model Number
  • Purchase date
  • Invoice copy
  • Quick note stating the problem

Manufacturer´s warranties may not apply in all cases, depending on factors such as use of the product, where the product was purchased, or who you purchased the product from. Please review the warranty carefully, and contact the manufacturer if you have any questions.
